The Bass Lake Summer Splash continues today with their 40th anniversary celebration, featuring a water volleyball tournament at 10 a.m. at The Shore Club. Six-person co-ed teams will compete in the tournament.
The 5K run and walk will take place at 7:30 a.m. after the 6:15 a.m. registration at the Lion’s Club Building on the east side of the lake, and arts and crafts will be available near the Bass Lake Marina at the south end of the lake from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The carnival begins at 6:00 p.m. across from Fingerhut Bakery and early registration for the 5K run and walk starts at 6:00 p.m.
Some of the highlights for this year’s Summer Splash include the many arts and craft booths, the Business Expo, the Build-a-Boat contest, Historic Tram Tours, and the fireworks show Saturday at dusk. The parade is Sunday at Noon.
The Bass Lake Summer Splash begins Friday, July 27 for a three-day run.
The Miss Teen Bass Lake and the Little Miss and Mr. Bass Lake contests are tomorrow, July 21, at the Bass Lake Property Owners Association Building.
The Little Miss and Mr. Bass Lake contest begins at 4 p.m., followed by the Miss Teen Bass Lake at 6 p.m. There is a $2 admission charge.

The annual Bass Lake Summer Splash begins today with a fishing derby that starts at 8:00 a.m. To enter, go to 3612 South County Road 210.

The Bass Lake Summer Splash begins Friday with the Fishing Derby at 8:00 a.m. and Bass Lake Idol Contest at 7:00 p.m. at the Bass Lake Property Owners Association Building.
Some other highlights of this year’s event include the 5K Run/Walk, Shriner’s and Lions Club breakfast events, the Business Expo, Cover Your Bass Contest, Car Show, Decorated Boat Parade, the main parade, and the fireworks show on the lake. We’ll have more details on those events later this week.
The Bass Lake Summer Splash Festival is the last week in July, but before the big event, a queen and court needs to be selected. Queen Pageant Director, Dana White, reports that seven young ladies between the ages of 14 and 18 are competing for the tiara.
