Outgoing Pulaski County Officials, Knox School Board Members Recognized

The end of 2020 means the end of the terms of several long-serving elected officials who did not seek reelection. Jay Sullivan leaves the Pulaski County Council after 20 years in office, several of those as council president. He took time during his final meeting to thank the county’s citizens for giving him the honor of serving them.

Pulaski County Commissioners to Discuss Insurance Renewal This Morning

The Pulaski County Commissioners will discuss insurance renewal this morning. They’re expected to hear from Gene Timm and Kyle Conrad with Novotny Insurance. It will be the last regular meeting for commissioners Kenny Becker and Jerry Locke. Neither sought reelection, after serving a single four-year term.

Pulaski County to Require Use of Face Masks in Public

Pulaski County Commissioners: Mike McClure, Jerry Locke, Kenny Becker

Pulaski County will require the use of face masks in public starting Friday. During an emergency meeting Thursday, the county commissioners approved an order requiring individuals to cover their nose and mouth when visiting businesses and public buildings. The requirement won’t apply to private homes or outdoors, according to County Attorney Kevin Tankersley.
