The Pulaski County Commissioners have once again taken action to chose a paving contractor for several miles of hot mix asphalt work. Town & Country Paving was selected by the commissioners Tuesday to resurface County Road 200 South from U.S. 421 to State Road 39 and County Road 400 East from 200 North to 400 North.
Pulaski County now has three contractors interested in doing several miles of paving work, as part of the state’s Community Crossings program. The county commissioners had approved a contract with Central Paving of Logansport for nearly $1.2 million, but they later repealed that decision to allow the project to be bid out formally.
The Eastern Pulaski School Corporation will likely wait another year to upgrade its parking lots and sidewalks. Continue reading
The Culver Town Council gave its final approval to a few ordinances Tuesday. Among them was the town’s 2017 budget. It now goes to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance for review. Continue reading
