Oregon-Davis School Board Adds eLearning Option to School Calendar

The Oregon-Davis School Board has agreed to bring back eLearning. Board members voted Monday to add some eLearning language to the 2019-2020 school calendar, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman. “That will include this statement: ‘At the discretion of the superintendent, an eLearning day may be utilized, if needed, throughout the school year,'” Harman explains.

N.J.-S.P. May Add Planned eLearning Days to Give Teachers more Professional Development Time

North Judson-San Pierre students may get a couple planned eLearning days next school year, to give teachers more time to work on curriculum. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin recently told the school board that while the existing Bluejay Collaboration Time is helpful, it isn’t enough, according to last fall’s curriculum audit.

Oregon-Davis School Board Approves School Calendar But May Revisit eLearning

Recent weather conditions have led Oregon-Davis school officials to think about reinstating eLearning. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says the issue was discussed during Monday’s school board meeting. “Obviously, with a lot of the weather situations that we’ve had in the last several weeks, the board has asked and I’ve had community members and parents ask if we would revisit eLearning days,” he says, “so we’re going to revisit those.”
