Oregon-Davis, Knox High Schools to Stage Mock Crashes

 

 

As prom season approaches, local high schools are once again warning students of the dangers of drunk and distracted driving. The Oregon-Davis SADD chapter is holding its annual mock crash today for high school juniors and seniors. Fire trucks, rescue vehicles, and a helicopter are all expected to be on the Oregon-Davis campus, as part of the presentation.

Knox School Board Approves List of Summer School Teachers

 

The Knox School Board has finalized arrangements for next month’s summer school classes. On Monday, board members approved a list of 19 summer school teachers and aides. However, Interim Superintendent Jim Dermody explained that each middle and high school class will only be offered if at least 15 students sign up, due to Indiana Department of Education funding guidelines. Knox Seniors Take Honor Walk Through Elementary School

Knox High School’s graduating seniors took one last walk through their old elementary school before they graduate. Wearing their caps and gowns, the seniors walked in procession through the elementary school Friday morning, as “Pomp and Circumstance” played over the school’s intercom.
