Oregon-Davis teachers are getting a slight pay raise. The school board approved the 2020-2021 teacher contract by a vote of three-to-zero last week, according to Superintendent Bill Bennett. “The highlights of this year’s new contract include teachers receiving a $1,500 one-time stipend, as well as an increase on their base pay of $275,” Bennett says.

Eastern Pulaski School Board to Consider Teacher Contract Tonight

The Eastern Pulaski School Board will consider the 2020-2021 teacher contract tonight. Under the proposed agreement, teachers rated effective or highly effective would get a $1,000 pay raise. Board members will also make an appointment to the Pulaski County Public Library Board and give their permission to sign agreements for alternative services and private school placements.

Oregon-Davis to Hold Hearing on Proposed Teacher Contract Tonight

Members of the public will have the chance to weigh in on the Oregon-Davis School Corporation’s proposed teacher contract tonight. It calls for most teachers to get a raise of $1,100 to their base salaries. If approved, the new starting pay level would be $32,000, with a maximum salary of almost $54,000. The proposal also includes a retirement incentive for teachers with at least 15 years of service and at least 57 years of age.

Oregon-Davis Increases Teacher Retirement Benefits under 2018-2019 Contract

Oregon-Davis teachers will see an increase in their retirement benefits and changes to the sick day policy, as part of the 2018-2019 Master Teacher Agreement approved by the school board Monday. The school corporation is increasing its annual contribution to qualifying teachers’ 401a plans from $400 to $500, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.

Two Oregon-Davis Teachers Take Retirement Incentive

Two Oregon-Davis teachers are accepting the school corporation’s retirement incentive, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman. “We had in our master teacher agreement that if a teacher retired and was qualified for this incentive, then the corporation would pay their single insurance until they turn 65,” he explains. “We had two teachers who retired and have qualified for the retirement incentive.”
