Pulaski County Makes 2016 Meeting Audio Available Online
It took two tries, but Pulaski County is hoping to make their board discussions easier to access online.
Audio recordings of all Pulaski County Commissioners, Council, and Joint Session meetings in 2016 were published to the county’s website on Tuesday. In previous conversations, the County Commissioners said they wanted to increase transparency and allow the public an opportunity to hear their proceedings without physically attending the courthouse on a typical Monday evening.

State Auditor Encourages Transparency in Starke County Visit
Indiana State Auditor Suzanne Crouch is looking to raise the profile of the auditor’s office.
The former Republican State Representative and Vanderburgh County Auditor paid a visit to Knox on Wednesday to meet with Starke County officials. The state auditor oversees payroll, local government distributions, and bill payments.

Winamac Looks To Improve “Greenspace Winamac” Operations
Promises of greater communication were made during the Winamac Town Council meeting, Monday night.
The Council met with a member of the Town’s Tree Committee, for all intents and purposes, is acting alone in the role. Several meetings have been held between the Town Council to discuss the future of the committee.

Winamac Continues Discussions With Greenspace Group
The Winamac Town Council plans to further discussions on a group that they say needs better communication.
During tonight’s meeting officials with Winamac Greenspace, otherwise known as the Town’s Tree Commission, will be meeting with the Town Council to plan how to better communication with the Town and a conservation and development group.
