The Community Services of Starke County Food Pantry continues looking for donations over the summer months. According to its May report, the food pantry served more than 600 people over the course of the month, distributing nearly 7,000 pounds of food.
Food pantry officials say there’s a particular need for donations of peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, cereals, soups, ramen noodles, and macaroni and cheese.
