The members of the Starke County Historical Society are inviting the public to a Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 5th at the Starke County Museum at 401 South Main Street in Knox. Ed Hasnerl and his guests will lead the visitors in Christmas carols. The Open House is from 1:00-3:00 p.m. CT with singing at 2:00 p.m.
Each year the Historical Society receives a Christmas tree from Hensler’s Nursery which is placed in front of the museum and decorated with red ribbons in memory of loved ones. For $1.00, you may purchase a red ribbon for the Christmas tree. The museum is open on Thursday and Friday afternoons or you may mail your check and list of names to Toni Snearly at the Starke County Museum, 401 S. Main Street in Knox, 46534.
