The Town of North Judson is gets in the holiday spirit this weekend!
The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be Friday, December 3rd, at 6:00 p.m. CT in Norwayne Field. Following that, residents are invited join in singing Christmas carols. Then it’s off to the old firehouse for cookies and hot chocolate and a fire in the fireplace to warm you.
On Saturday, December 4th, Santa Claus is coming to town! Santa Claus will be arriving in North Judson, by train, at 12:30 p.m. CT at the North Judson Train Depot. From there, a parade will lead Santa to the new North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department building where Santa will greet the children and hear their Christmas wishes. A small fee will be charged for pictures with Santa Claus. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
The parade will begin at the Train Depot and travel up Sycamore Street, down Lane Street, to Main Street and then to the fire station on Luken Street. This year’s Christmas Parade is sponsored by the North Judson Mint Festival.
