Eight new Court Appointed Special Advocate members were recently sworn into service.
Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, members are volunteers appointed by Starke Circuit Court Judge Kim Hall to be the voice in court for children. The new CASA volunteers underwent 10 weeks, or 30 hours, of intense training to become the important voice for a court appointed child in need of services. The new CASA volunteers are Rhonda Adcock, Carol Trott, Gail Staerkel, Dorine Godinez, Jayme Rose, Keith Fornelli, Rachel Foster and Dawn Wilcox.
