Health insurance coverage for Starke County employees was discussed this week by the County Commissioners, Starke County Council President, Mark Smith, and Council-elect member, Mitchell Semans.
Representatives of 1st Source Insurance and Teachers Credit Union made presentations. All options were reviewed and questions were answered. Bridget Markin represents 1st Source locally, while Brian Liechty is the local Teachers Credit Union representative.
A decision as to which plan and which agent will represent the County will be made at the December 6th regular meeting of the Starke County Commissioners.
