Several area 4-Hers have done well on their projects at the Indiana State Fair.
The following Starke County 4-Hers received a Merit Ribbon for their projects: Mason Awald for his Electric project, Samuel Back for his Weather project, Alex Haney on a Foods project, Haley Hartmann for Cat Posters, Alivia Hesters for Foods, Rachel Lenig for foods, Gage Minix for Crafts and Shooting Sports Education, Hanna Shidler for Home Environment and Mia Shively for Photography.
In Pulaski County, the following 4-Hers received a Merit Ribbon for their projects: Sara Bailey for her Entomology, Sewing and Foods projects, Jenny Budd and Kathleen Budd in Geology, Jacob Conner for Beekeeping, Regan Culp, Baleigh Dickson, and Kassi Dahn for Sewing Non-Wearable, Brandon Dickson for Shooting Sports Education, Alexander Gudas for Crafts, Alicia Healey for Crafts and Photography, Emma Hoover for Foods (preserved items), Trevor Hopkins for Single Herb, Alivia Kruger for Foods (preserved items), Evan Kruger for Single Vegetables, Peyton Newman for Consumer Clothing, Sportfishing, and Veterinary Science, Eli Nielson for Foods (preserved items), Erica Putt for Sewing, and Claire Stout for Floriculture.
A Merit Ribbon means that the project was an exceptionally blue ribbon quality exhibit.
