Today is the last day to register to vote in this year’s General Election. Visit this website to update your voter registration information or your may register by mail or in-person at a county voter registration office, the Indiana Election Division or a branch office of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Starke County Clerk, Evelyn Skronski, reports that absentee voting for voters in Knox, North Judson and Hamlet will begin soon in the Starke County Courthouse.
“Early voting in-office will start October 29th, that’s a Saturday, and it will go all that next week and then the following Saturday which would be November 5th,” explained Skronski. “You may also vote a half day on November 7th.”
Voting will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m. each day. Absentee voting will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7th. An evening session has been set aside for Thursday, November 3rd from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
