A man involved in a crash near Plymouth Monday afternoon that injured him and a child is being held in the Marshall County jail on $100,000 bond.
Police say 29-year-old Anthony McNeal of Plymouth was attempting to cross U.S. 31 at the intersection of 2C Road and pulled into the path of an oncoming semi. The semi hit the passenger side of the vehicle and it spun off the roadway. McNeal was reportedly unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by helicopter to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. His daughter, 6-month-old Reese McNeal was a passenger in the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.
McNeal has been charged with Criminal Recklessness, Neglect of a Dependent and Operating a Vehicle under the influence of a Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 Controlled Substance.
