Two people have been arrested in the battery of Dennis Howard, of Winamac.
On March 16th, Pulaski County Sheriff’s officers were notified by personnel at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital about a man wanted on an active arrest warrant and he had just been beaten by two subjects.
When Dennis Howard was questioned at the hospital, he told police that he was at a home on 550 N. and two North Judson men, Dan Ard and Robert Allen, allegedly beat him with a shovel, and they also punched him and kicked him. Howard had fled from officers earlier in the day and ended up at the residence. It was then he was reportedly beaten. He had sustained injuries all over his body.
Robert Allen, 23, was arrested on Tuesday, March 20th, and Dan Ard, 21, was arrested on Wednesday, March 21st, and they were both picked up on an active arrest warrant for Battery with Bodily Injury. Both have been discharged from the Pulaski County Jail.
