A Knox man was arrested Saturday in Plymouth after allegedly using a forged prescription to obtain a controlled substance. On April 14, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from People’s Drug Store in Plymouth informing them that a man had used a forged prescription, and the purchaser was identified as Stephan Buckingham.
The doctor associated with the prescription has been contacted and he told police that the blank prescription had been stolen from his office in Knox and was forged. Buckingham was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on charges of Forgery and Prescription Fraud with a $10,000 cash bond.
Buckingham was on probation for the Armed Robbery of a drug store in Knox.
