The North Judson-San Pierre High School Band earned a Gold Performance Rating at the ISSMA. Organizational Concert Contest on April 13th at Lowell High School.
With this Gold Rating, the North Judson-San Pierre High School Band also earned the All-Music Award for Band. Approximately 30-35 high school bands in the state of Indiana earn this award. In order to win this prestigious honor, high school bands have to earn a Gold Performance Rating at the following ISSMA sponsored events – District/Festival Marching Band Contest, qualify a minimum one soloist and one ensemble to the state solo and ensemble contest, jazz festival (North Judson-San Pierre earned two Gold Ratings at the jazz festival) and a gold rating at the concert festival. This marks the third time in the last four years the North Judson-San Pierre High School Band has won this award.
