The Oregon-Davis School Board meeting will be held today. This is a unique board meeting as it will be held at 1:00 p.m with senior class members present.
This is a continuance of the “Bring Government to the Students” program at Oregon-Davis. Earlier this school year, Starke Circuit Court Judge Kim Hall brought his court to Oregon-Davis High School to conduct proceedings for the class to observe.
Mr. Mike Marsh and Mrs. Donna Flaugher have worked on this program and Superintendent Dr. Steve Disney commented that they have done an excellent job of bringing real life experiences to the students.
Disney said, “Through this program, every Oregon-Davis graduate will see the role that citizens play in public service.”
