Gun sighting begins at 1:00 p.m. CT this afternoon for the Fourth Annual Turkey Tracks Hunt. The sighting of the guns will be at the Washington Township Community Building. Target practice will be allowed until the dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The doors open at 5:00 p.m. for the hog roast and during the dinner, those in attendance can place their bids on the silent auction items.
Ted Hayes and Matt Danford will welcome the 31 hunters at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a turkey call contest by the guides. At 7:00 p.m., Colton Cole, who is one of the hunters in the event this year, will provide musical entertainment.
The evening ends at 9:00 p.m. with a prayer for a good hunt by James Bond.
Then Saturday morning, the 31 hunters and guides will be out trying to get a wild turkey for those participants. The Turkey Tracks event is sponsored by the Eric
Corey Foundation and is held for disabled hunters.
