A single vehicle accident injured four people in Marshall County on Sunday.
Deputies were called to a location on U.S. 31 south of 11th Road where Amanda Clemons, 26 of South Bend, had driven over a patch of ice and lost control of her SUV. The vehicle veered into the ditch and rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof.
Clemons, Sandra Walden, and Anthony Lyons from South Bend and Rachael Davis from Whitakers, N.C., were all walking around the vehicle when police arrived at the scene. They were all transported to the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center after complaining of pain.
After an investigation, police were able to clear the scene and close the case.
