Marla Freeman was sentenced in Pulaski Circuit Court this week after pleading guilty to possession charges in two separate cases.
Freeman pleaded guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance as a Class D felony in the first case, and Possession of a Narcotic Drug as a Class D felony in the second case. She was sentenced to serve six months in the Department of Corrections for each case to run consecutively.
Freeman was given credit for time served to a total of six days, and will serve a 12 month probation sentence following her release from the Department of Corrections. On top of that, her driver’s license was suspended for six months.
Charges of Driving While Suspended and other violations were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
