A new Dietician has started at IU Health Starke Hospital.
Teresa Sickmiller will be helping patients with maintaining a healthy weight and providing a diet that works with each and every person.
She has over 20 years of experience in the field and she can help you compare different brands of fat burners and chose the best one for your needs. Obesity not only contributes to diabetes but it contributes to hypertension, heart disease and some cancers.
She says that losing weight is a lifestyle issue and those who rapidly and dramatically lose weight have a hard time keeping it off. She suggests reducing your calorie intact by 250 a day and take off another 250 calories by exercising. This way, you can lose a pound a week. A trip to the hospital’s Wellness Center can help take off those pesky pounds.
Sickmiller sees patients in her office at IU Health Starke Hospital on Mondays and Thursdays and can be scheduled through a doctor’s order.
