The Culver School Board this week approved their expenditure goals percentages for 2013. The board approved 55 percent toward academic achievement expenditures, 20 percent toward instructional support expenditures, 20 percent toward overhead and operational expenditures, and the remaining 5 percent to go toward non-operating expenditures.
Superintendent Brad Schuldt also explained to the board that a number of conferences and events are approaching, and laid out the upcoming events for the year. Schuldt said on Feb. 15, a Collective Bargaining Seminar will take place in Indianapolis for the Indiana School Board Association and the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents. On April 13, a three-day Annual Conference will take place in San Diego for the National School Boards Association, and on June 14, the Indiana School Board Association will hold a School Law Seminar in Indianapolis.
On June 21, a School Budget and Finance Seminar will be held in Indianapolis by the ISBA, IAPSS, and Indiana Association of School Business officials. On July 8, a two-day event will be held by the ISBA at the French Lick resort for the Board Member Summer Academy.
