Two LaPorte men were arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop.
Investigators from the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit and deputies from the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department conducted the traffic stop and found Bruce Wakeman and Robert Ratz inside the vehicle.
Officers learned that Wakeman had outstanding warrants for two counts of burglary and theft. He was also charged with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Ratz was arrested and charged with Dealing a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance, Possession of a Legend Drug and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Both are lodged in the LaPorte County Jail. Wakeman’s bond was set at $4,110 and Ratz is being held without bond.
