The deadline for the Free Application for Free Student Aid is Sunday, March 10.
Federal Student Aid, a part of the U.S. Department of Education, is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation. More than $150 billion in federal grants, loans, and work-study funds are distributed each year to more than 15 million students paying for college or career school.
This is the main source of funding for a lot of students wanting to further their education in a post-secondary setting. The FAFSA form is extensive in asking about financial information to see if a student can be available to receive federal assistance to seek a degree.
The FAFSA form must be received by the Office of the U.S. Department of Education by midnight CT on Sunday, March 10.
