Kindergarten screening for Oregon-Davis students entering the corporation in the 2013-2014 school year will be held Tuesday, April 16 from 8 to 11 a.m., and from noon to 1 p.m. as well as on Wednesday, April 17 from 1 to 6 p.m. CT.
To be eligible for enrollment, the child must be five on or before Aug. 1, 2013. You are urged to make an appointment for your child’s screening. Screening will take 15 minutes per child.
Parents will need to bring in an official birth certificate and immunization record.
Officials will also be registering children for preschool after April 16. A child who is 4 or 5 years old and who will be entering kindergarten in the next school year or the 2014-2015 school year are eligible for preschool. Preschool has a limited number of openings and is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Children who reside in the Oregon-Davis school district will take precedence over those who live out of the district.
