There is one question on the ballot and the question pertains to the allowance of a construction and renovation project at the Knox Elementary School – specifically the Palmer Wing. The ballot question asks for you to accept or reject a request by the Knox Community School Board for this project that “would not cost not more than $16,000,000 and is estimated to increase the property tax rate for debt service by a maximum of $0.2802 per $100 of assessed valuation.”
