At the most recent meeting of the Oregon-Davis School Board, the board accepted the retirements of five teachers.
Each of the teachers have more than 30 years of experience and have spent most, if not all in some cases, of their teaching career at the Oregon-Davis School Corporation.
Elementary teacher Bonnie Guse, high school science teacher Debbie Awald, high school English teacher Donna Flaugher, high school Family and Consumer Sciences teacher Nancy Dennie, and high school and elementary art teacher Betty Lebo submitted their requests for retirement which were accepted by the school board.
All of the teachers will be formally recognized during the board’s monthly meeting in May.
