The Marshall County Commissioners have a light agenda for their meeting today.
Museum Director Linda Rippy will be before the commissioners with an update on activities and operations at the museum and the commissioners will discuss the 911 circuits contract with Century Link.
The public is invited to attend this regular meeting which begins at 8:30 a.m. ET and will be held in the commissioner’s meeting room in the Marshall County building.
The Knox Community School Board will meet tonight after their single meeting in July. The board will have plenty of things to discuss as the school year gets underway next week.
Along with a report of events surrounding the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year, the board is expected to grant permission to advertise the 2014 all funds budget and approve the 2013-2014 classified staff handbook and statement of benefits. The board will also discuss assistant principal contract rollovers. The Spotlight on Success will also highlight a positive aspect to roll into the first of the school year.
The Knox Community School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the administrative office in the Knox Community Elementary School. Public comments are welcome but must be written on a card to be presented to the board president prior to the start of the meeting.
