Registration for the event begins at 3 p.m. and the race begins at 4 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., a celebration will be held to recognize all breast cancer survivors. The $20 registration fee will be used by the hospital to help fund health care including breast cancer issues.
All participants will be given a commemorative pink t-shirt and medals will be given in both events.
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women only after lung cancer.
