According to the police report filed into court documents, on Sept. 27 Winamac police arrested the pair after an officer identified a pick-up truck involved in a burglary incident. The officer reportedly located an air compressor in the back of the pick-up along with tools that were reported stolen.

McDaniel allegedly admitted to taking an air compressor from outside a residence plus dog food from inside the residence. He also reportedly stated that he bought tools from a man who he didn’t personally know.
Wireman allegedly stated that he was asked to pick up tools.
McDaniel and Wireman have both been charged with Burglary as a Class C felony and each have bonds of $30,000. McDaniel has an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. They appeared in court for an initial hearing on Sept. 30 where not guilty pleas were entered.
