Matt Crafton and the primary sponsor of his No. 88 Toyota Tundra, Menards, have renewed agreements with ThorSport Racing for the 2014 season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS).
The 2014 season will mark the 10th consecutive year that Crafton will drive the Menards truck for ThorSport and 13th year overall with the team.
Crafton has finished in the top-10 in the standings in the NCWTS in the last eight season. He currently hold the series record for consecutive starts at 315. Crafton won the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series championship in 2000 before making his first start for ThorSport in the truck series finale that year.
“Matt’s consistency and competitiveness at a very high level epitomizes what ThorSport is all about,” team owner Duke Thorson said. “We’re pleased to keep Matt and Menards together moving into the future and look forward to their continued success.
“Partnering with Menards in the Camping World Truck Series is the perfect example of how beneficial a combined sports marketing and business-to-business program can be for both Menards and ThorSport.”
Crafton will be racing for the championship in the NCWTS Friday night at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
