Starke County Tourism has put together its own visitors guide called “The Traveler.” The next issue will feature a blue cover and will have a photo of the Chaves Chute slide at Bass Lake and it is expected to go to print in the spring. The magazine is distributed throughout all of Indiana and parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois. The magazine is in most visitor centers in the state.
Approximately 50,000 copies of the guide that promotes Starke County attractions and business were printed and only 1,000 remain.
