The Marshall County Council will meet today at 9 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County building.
Emergency Management Agency Director Clyde Avery will discuss two grant applications, Sheriff Tom Chamberlin will seek approval to find a merit officer replacement, and County Attorney Jim Clevenger will discuss the Culver Military Academy Development Bonds.
Highway Superintendent Neal Haeck will be before the council members to request additional overtime for his staff who have been logging extra hours during the snow events the past month. He is requesting $60,000 and another $8,000 in additional appropriations in his budget.
The council members will also decide on other additional appropriations including a request from the Argos Community Schools in the amount of $15,000.
