Superintendent Greg Briles said the township has some specific plans for the property.
“We’re working with the Davis Township trustee in returning the property where the Hamlet baseball/softball fields are located in order for them to move forward on the possibility of building a new fire station out there or using it for whatever they need to use it for,” stated Briles.
More information on what the township plans to do with that property will be released soon. This is one of the first steps in the process in moving forward with those plans.
