A Hunter Education Class will be offered April 12 and April 13 at the Kankakee Fish and Wildlife Area Headquarters at 4320 W. Toto Road in North Judson.
Indiana conservation officers will teach the free course which is open to all. Students are required to preregister online at www.indianahuntereducation.com.
Attendance is mandatory on both April 12 and April 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Make sure you take a sack lunch.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive their Indiana Hunter Education Certification which is required for any hunters born after Dec. 31, 1986.
