The weather is slowly warming up as we approach the spring season, and many summer movie enthusiasts are chomping at the bit to enjoy the warmer air and a good movie. Fred Heise from the Melody Drive-In recently announced that the drive-in theater has set a tentative date to open this season, weather permitting.
“I’m looking forward to this spring. I really want this weather to subside, so folks, there is a light of hope out there. We are going to open on April 4, tentatively, obviously weather permitting. But right now we’re looking at April 4 for Captain America,” Heise said.
Heise said he’s looking forward to opening the theater and debuting some of this year’s upcoming films. Movies like Captain America, Rio 2, the new Spiderman and X-Men movies, Maleficent, 22 Jump Street, Transformers – the list goes on, Heise said.
Heise also alluded that there will be some big announcements for the theater this year.
The theater is expected to open April 4 featuring Captain America.
