Bids were opened for the Metronet project in Marshall County.
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission opened five bids for the work, plus alternates for work to be done involving piping down Pine Road east and west and on State Road 17, plus lateral installation to buildings and to the county buildings.
The Marshall County Commissioners opened seven bid packets for general work for the infrastructure and conduit.
The bids were taken under advisement with USI and both entities. Base bids for the city’s portion ranged from $1.3 million for the high bid and as low as $615,000. Base bids for the county’s portion was as high as $1.4 million and as low as $759,000.
A joint meeting between the Marshall County Commissioners and the Redevelopment Commission will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at 8:30 a.m. ET in Room 204 of the county building to award bids for the project.
