A traffic stop initiated by an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the arrest of the driver.
Ashley Turner’s vehicle was pulled over Wednesday night on U.S. 31 near the intersection of 1st Road. The officer reportedly found marijuana, a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a controlled substance. The officer believed that Turner may be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Turner, 27, of South Bend was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail. Formal charges are pending with the Marshall County Prosecutor. Bond was set at $3,000.
