Ancilla College officials are closing out the school’s fiscal year with a final push to boost the school’s general fund budget. Known as the Ancilla Fund, it is used for day-to-day operating expenses at the two-year private college. Executive Director of Institutional Management Todd Zeltwanger says contributions in any amount are welcome.
He says the school gets gifts from $5 to more than $500, and every dollar helps. Ancilla is a nonprofit organization, so all contributions are tax-deductible. Zeltwanger adds most of the $1 million balance in the fund is invested in students, about one-third of whom are from Starke County.
