An early morning traffic stop in LaPaz ended with three arrests on drug charges.
Just before 3 a.m. a Marshall County Police Officer pulled a car driven by Donjai Chandler, 24, of South Bend, over at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Park Street in LaPaz. The police report indicates Chandler was in possession of marijuana. A passenger, 24 year old Michael Rucker, 24, of South Bend, was also found to be in possession of marijuana, cocaine and a controlled substance. Another passenger, Mitcheal Davis II, 23, of South Bend, also had marijuana and a handgun, according to police. All three were booked into the Marshall County Jail, and their car was impounded.
