Two wanted offenders were recently extradited to LaPorte from Tennessee by deputies from the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division and booked into the LaPorte County Jail.
Richard Maynard, 50, and Christine Stultz (aka Christine Riegle), 40, were detained in Coffee County, Tennessee after law enforcement officers there found the pair were wanted on drug charges in an investigation by the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit.
Maynard was wanted on charges of dealing methamphetamine as a Class B felony, possession of anhydrous ammonia as a Class D felony and failure to appear.
Stultz was wanted on charges of unlawful sale of a precursor, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of hash oil. All charges are Class D felonies.
Stultz has posted bond has been released from the LaPorte County Jail. Maynard remains incarcerated with no bond.
This arrest is the result of an ongoing investigations involving the distribution of narcotics and illegal drugs in LaPorte County.
