The members of the Eastern Pulaski School Board will approve action items concerning contracts and the building project in a meeting this afternoon.
After the last special meeting, the board members met in an extended work session to fine tune the building project that includes all buildings to upgrade them to future education standards. Security upgrades will be done as well as classroom improvements and heating and cooling.
A representative form Gibraltar Design will be before the board today to discuss the updated list of items on the project list. The board could also move forward with a preliminary bond resolution for technology and infrastructure and obtain the accounting services of Umbaugh and Associates for continuing disclosure compliance and proposed general obligation bonds for 2014 and proposed lease rental bonds. The project could begin in March.
In addition to this discussion, the board members will approve the classified staff salary schedule, the certified staff stipend and the superintendent’s contract.
