The Oregon-Davis School Board added six months to Superintendent Greg Briles’ contract this week.
Briles said his contract will be now be valid until June 2017.
“We did a six-month contract extension to bring it in consistent with what all of the other teachers and administrators in our corporation were,” said Briles. “I also received a bonus for the first six months of working with the school corporation which was in my contract.”
Briles’ contract will soon be posted on the Oregon-Davis website for public view.
Briles was hired as the superintendent of the Oregon-Davis school corporation in January of this year.
