Attempt to Pass Counterfeit Bill Leads to Drug Arrest

 
 

A Marshall County woman is jailed on a $50,000 cash bond after officers investigating a report of a fast food restaurant customer trying to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill reportedly found an active meth lab.

A Marshall County Police Officer responded to the LaPaz McDonald’s on Thursday, Jan. 8 and traced suspect Mandi Kobold, 35, to the Gatewood Trailer Park in Plymouth. They got a search warrant for her car, and reportedly found a drug lab inside the vehicle. Formal charges are pending through the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
