The West Central School Board members discussed the wind turbine maintenance agreement during this week’s meeting.
Superintendent Don Street said they looked at maintenance agreements from other schools and decided on a provider.
“We all agreed to go with Power Grid Partners in Ohio to provide our maintenance for the 2015 year,” explained Street. “Their employees are the same employees that were with our previous company so we approved that company to provide our wind turbine maintenance.”
The board also got an update on the turbine performance.
“For the month of December, our electric bill was $20 again so it is producing electricity and building up credits for the future. It’s been a good project for us here at West Central.”
