Information gained by the Starke County Sheriff’s Office led to an arrest in a methamphetamine case.
Authorities responded to the 2-thousand South block of 100 West in North Judson on Tuesday. The tip that came into the Sheriff’s Department led investigators to believe that a couple may have been manufacturing meth in the residence.
Officers arrived at the residence with a K-9 unit. One of the occupants gave permission to search the home. Once inside, officers allegedly located syringes, paraphernalia, and cannabis.
According to information released by the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, 44-year-old John Risner came home and was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was also booked on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
No bond has been set.
