A vehicle reported stolen on Thursday has been located in Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Dispatch received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Friday morning in the area of country road 900 South and county road 1200 West. According to the caller, the 1997 Mercury van was sitting along the side of the roadway.
A press release from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s office indicates that several tools and a chainsaw were located in a ditch near the vehicle. After officers ran the license plate, it was learned the vehicle had been reported stolen a day earlier in Porter County.
The van was impounded and turned over to Porter County for further investigation.
No arrests have been made in the case.
