An organization that works in conjunction with the Pulaski County government celebrated a milestone at the end of March.
Pulaski County Human Services has been in operation for the past 40 years. The non-profit organization provides assistance for elderly and low income residents.
Pulaski County Human Services was started in 1974 as the County Council on Aging. The members incorporated as a non-profit the following year. According to their website, the organization has provided more than $15-million worth of services to the area.
Director Jacki Frain has indicated in past conversations that the organization has grown its services over the years.
According to a press release, donations are being accepted to help host the group’s annual meeting and to recognize volunteers. That meeting will take place on April 29th.
